Purpose
The Makinde Foundation exists to generate a global groundswell of engaged individuals committed to:
Advancing peace, stability, and empowerment in underserved communities.
Promoting equity and opportunity for all people.
Uplifting vulnerable populations through education, civic awareness, workforce access, and community pride.

Core Objectives
1. Distribute Educational Resources
Provide construction/ developmental support, books, refurbished computers, shoes, school supplies and intellectual support & mentorship to underdeveloped and underserved communities globally. This program is based on youth empowerment.

2. Encourage Social & Educational Activities
Promote youth-focused learning, arts, sports, and mentorship programs, especially for marginalized groups.

3. Promote Civic & Political Education
Elevate civic literacy and participation in underserved U.S. communities and international regions. We believe when you educate people of their civic responsibilities, they never have to be mobilized or registered to vote and or participate in their electoral systems.

4. Create Workforce Development Pipelines
From high school to entrepreneurship, train youth and adults—especially in construction trades—with a focus on minority inclusion.

5. Foster Partnerships
Collaborate with organizations, HBCUs, local leaders, and trade unions aligned with our mission.

6. Promote Community Celebrations & Co-ops
Develop festivals, parades, and economic cooperatives to empower youth, seniors, and the vulnerable.
